Mist Eliminators are designed to remove contaminants from process air emissions that evolve as mist droplets. We manufactures Demister pads in several materials like stainless steel 304, 316, polypropylene, ptfe and other features depending upon model and includeframes, metal grids etc.

The diameter of the dispersed droplets in the gas encountered in normal chemical operations is about 0.1 to 5000 μm. Generally, the particles having a particle diameter of 100 μm or more are easily settled due to the rapid sedimentation rate. Generally, droplets larger than 50 μm in diameter can be separated by gravity sedimentation; droplets above 5 μm can be used for inertial collision and centrifugal separation; for smaller droplets, try to aggregate them to form larger particles, or use fiber filters and Electrostatic defogger.
